Report: Bayern drop interest in Führich

According to Sport Bild, Bayern Munich are no longer considering a move for Chris Führich.

Bayern Munich have been linked with a move for VfB Stuttgart winger Chris Führich.

However, according to Sport Bild, the Bavarians have decided not to proceed with their interest in the Germany international.

However, this doesn't mean that Führich is guaranteed to stay at Stuttgart, with Bayer Leverkusen, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and two Italian giants said to be among his suitors.

Führich reportedly has a release clause in the region of €20-26 million in his contract, which runs until 2028.

When asked about his future at the national team camp, Führich was coy, but did make it clear that remaining at Stuttgart is a possibility.

"I don't think much about it. I am concentrating on the European Championship and always leave everything to my management. I don't want to deal with it. For me it's important that I'm on the pitch and enjoying myself," he told Sky Germany.

"What we've achieved this year is something very special - for the club and for the fans. So yes, of course! Why shouldn't it be imaginable?” he said on the possibility of staying with Stuttgart.
