Bayern Munich have reportedly reignited their interest in Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens, who is expected to leave the club this summer.

According to Kicker, there has been renewed contact between Bayern’s board member for sport, Max Eberl, and Gittens’ representatives.

Still in the market for a winger after being turned down by Nico Williams, Bayern now appear to be considering Gittens as an alternative.

However, the 20-year-old is said to have already agreed a move to Chelsea, raising the question of whether Bayern can still hijack the deal.

So far, the Blues have been unable to finalise a transfer fee with Dortmund, who are reportedly demanding around €60 million.
