RB Leipzig will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Borussia Dortmund at the weekend when they visit Celtic in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The defeat, Leipzig's first in the Bundesliga this season, saw them lose ground to Bayern Munich, who moved three points clear at the top.

Leipzig have their backs against the wall in the Champions League going into the game, having lost their first three European matches of the season narrowly to Atletico Madrid, Juventus and Liverpool respectively.

Celtic have started their Champions League campaign with four points from three games. Their only defeat of the season so far came at the hands of another German side, Borussia Dortmund, who thrashed them 7-1 at the beginning of October.

Domestically, they've been in fine form and sit top of the Scottish Premiership table on points with Aberdeen, who they crushed 6-0 in the Scottish League Cup on Saturday.

Celtic have no fresh injury concerns. On the contrary, they were boosted by the return of three players against Aberdeen, with captain Callum McGregor and Nicolas Kühn back in the starting line-up, while Adam Idah came on as a substitute.

Leipzig will be without long-term absentees David Raum, Xaver Schlager and Xavi Simons, while Castello Lukeba is expected to miss out after picking up an injury before the loss to Dortmund.
