After an impressive 2023/24 campaign in the 2. Bundesliga, 18-year-old Can Uzun leaves FC Nürnberg to join Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Bundesliga side confirmed the signing of the talented attacker on Tuesday on a contract until 2029.

"Can Uzun is one of the biggest talents in Germany. We are happy that he chose us despite many interesting offers from all over Europe. He has exceptional skills for his age," said Eintracht sporting CEO Markus Krösche.

“We showed Can our clear plan and convinced him. We want to develop him in the best possible way and are delighted that he will be scoring goals for us from this season onwards.”

Uzun commented:

“Eintracht Frankfurt is the perfect place for me and my further development. I'm really looking forward to this new challenge and can't wait to introduce myself to the Eintracht fans.”

The 18-year-old scored 16 goals and added two assists in 30 appearances in the 2. Bundesliga last season.
