With exactly an hour to go until tonight's kick-off, RB Leipzig head coach Marco Rose has announced his starting eleven to take on an in-form Liverpool side who are currently first in the English domestic top-flight.

After a routine 2-0 win over Mainz in Bundesliga action, Marco Rose has opted for a solitary alteration from that winning team last Saturday. A solitary alteration sees Benjamin Henrichs comes into the side in place of Lukas Klostermann. Willi Orbán captains the side from the heard of defence, while Xavi Simons, Loïs Openda, and Benjamin Šeško will try to provide the attacking spark.

As for the visitors, Arne Slot's team achieved a 2-1 win over high-flying Chelsea which sends the Reds into tonight's game full of confidence. Just two changes have been made, with Kostas Tsimikas replacing Andrew Robertson and Alexis MacAllister getting the nod over Curtis Jones. Virgil van Dijk is the skipper, with offensive threat from Mohamed Salah, Cody Gakpo, and Darwin Nuñez.

The last time the two clubs met in Europe's premier competition Liverpool, then under ex-BVB boss Jurgen Klopp, secured a 2-0 win in their Round of 16 clash back in March 2021. Goals from Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mané ensured passage to the next round.

Confirmed RB Leipzig vs. Liverpool lineups:

Liverpool (4-3-3): Kelleher - Alexander-Arnold, Konaté, Van Dijk (c), Tsimikas - Szoboszlai, Gravenberch, MacAllister - Gakpo, Nuñez, Salah
