Stuttgart host Freiburg in the second semi-final of the DFB-Pokal on Thursday evening. The holders target to reach domestic cup finals in consecutive years for the first time, while Freiburg are aiming for their second trip to Berlin.
The hosts are boosted with the return of Deniz Undav from suspension, while Ermedin Demirović is also back in the lineup after his cameo appearance against Bayern.
Including the penalty shootout win against Hertha in the previous round, Florian Müller played in the last three rounds of the cup. The substitute goalkeeper once again gets the nod ahead of Noah Atubolu.
