Borussia Dortmund managed without Serhou Guirassy in their 4-0 win over Freiburg on Saturday after the star striker was ruled out through illness at short notice.

According to Sky Germany, the Guinea international is feeling better and should be on the plane to Zagreb for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Dinamo.

However, given how well Dortmund performed with Maximilian Beier up front against Freiburg, there are no plans to start Guirassy on Wednesday, the report claims.

The striker could come off the bench if required, but Dortmund will be wary of rushing him back into action ahead of Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Bayern Munich.

Guirassy has found the net nine times in 13 games for Dortmund following his summer move from VfB Stuttgart.
