Since Arne Slot took over as Liverpool head coach last summer, Wataru Endo's playing time has been limited.

The former Stuttgart midfielder has only played 742 minutes in 26 games in all competitions and hasn't made a single league start this season.

According to Bild, Endo could be on his way back to the Bundesliga this summer.

The report claims that Eintracht Frankfurt are monitoring the 32-year-old, as the Eagles look to bolster their midfield with an experienced leader.

Endo could potentially take Mahmoud Dahoud's place in the squad. The 29-year-old has struggled to make an impact since joining from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer and could be heading for the exit door.
