Transfer insider specialist Fabrizio Romano has poured cold water over doubts surrounding Lennart Karl's future at Bayern Munich.

After the 17-year-old phenom stated on Sunday that he would like to represent Real Madrid one day, Bayern fans were in a state of panic.

However, the Italian journalist has since revealed what those close to Karl are saying about his statement regarding the Galacticos.

"The boy is very young, this is a 17-year old kid. He was very honest in sharing his feelings, but he loves being at Bayern.

"He's very proud and wants to fight for Bayern. He's always had a dream to play for Real Madrid, but that doesn't mean he wants to leave Bayern today.

“He knows that his present and his future are going to be at Bayern. Then at some point in the distant future his dream is to play for Real Madrid,” Romano explained.

Karl has become the German record champions' breakout star this season, scoring 6 goals and providing one assist in 20 games across all competitions.
