Josha Vagnoman, Stuttgart (Defender, 6.12M, 5%)

Stuttgart suffered a heavy 5-1 defeat to Bayern Munich on Matchday 1, but actually put up a good fight for large parts of the game. Vagnoman showed his attacking prowess by scoring Stuttgart’s only goal of the evening, although his points tally took a hit after he was unfortunate to put the ball into his own net. With Sebastian Hoeneß’ side looking to bounce back at home against Köln, the right-back is an interesting option at his price.

Laurin Curda, Paderborn (Defender, 6.29M, 4%)

The Paderborn wing-back caught the eye on Matchday 1 by scoring an impressive 233 points. While 40 of those came from the clean sheet Paderborn kept against Mainz, the majority came from duels, with Curda winning 19 across the game. His strength in duels should give the 24-year-old a solid points floor, while he is also more than capable of contributing with goal involvements, as he showed last season when he scored seven goals and provided eight assists in the 2. Bundesliga.

Kevin Diks, Borussia Mönchengladbach (Defender, 10.49M, 2%)

After a disappointing opening day, Gladbach will be looking to bounce back at home against Elversberg. The newly promoted side, meanwhile, started the season with a sensational 3-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen, but Die Fohlen will still be strong favourites this weekend. Diks is a centre-back capable of chipping in with a goal from time to time, while his value is further boosted by his role as penalty taker.

Yuito Suzuki, Freiburg (Midfielder, 8.52M, 17%)

Freiburg’s impressive 4-1 win over Werder Bremen should give them plenty of confidence ahead of their trip to newly-promoted Paderborn, and few will be feeling better than hat-trick hero Yuito Suzuki. The Japanese midfielder will be hoping to carry his excellent form into Matchday 2.

Hugo Bolin, Borussia Mönchengladbach (Midfielder, 7.26M, 2%)

Bolin was one of Gladbach’s better performers in their opening-day defeat to RB Leipzig, taking four shots and scoring a respectable 134 points despite his side’s 3-0 loss. Given Elversberg’s attacking style, Gladbach should have plenty of opportunities at home, and Bolin could benefit from that.

Konstantinos Karetsas, Borussia Dortmund (15.9M, 21%)

Karetsas enjoyed an impressive Bundesliga debut for Dortmund in last week’s win over HSV, scoring an impressive 273 points. The 18-year-old was heavily involved in BVB’s attacking play and showed that he can rack up points through a variety of metrics beyond goals and assists.

Ismael Saibari, FC Bayern (Midfielder, 17.28M, 9%)

After coming on to provide two assists against Stuttgart, Saibari started Bayern’s 4-1 DFB-Pokal win over VfL Osnabrück and is widely expected to keep his place for this weekend’s away game against Schalke 04. Playing as a central attacking midfielder for Bayern against a newly-promoted side naturally makes the Morocco international an intriguing option.

Younes Ebnoutalib, Eintracht Frankfurt (Striker, 4.45M, 24%)

After scoring an impressive hat-trick last week, Ebnoutalib should have plenty of confidence heading into this weekend’s home game against Mainz. At just 4.45M, he is arguably one of the best budget options in the game at the moment.

Dzenan Pejcinovic, Stuttgart (Striker, 11.77M, 6%)

Having bagged a hat-trick in Stuttgart’s 4-0 win over Hansa Rostock in the DFB-Pokal, Pejcinovic had a tough time against Bayern Munich. However, it would not be surprising to see him get back on track against Köln, with the striker set to lead the line for a Stuttgart side that should create plenty of chances at home.

Harry Kane, FC Bayern (Striker, 37.88M, 21%)

Buying Kane did not pay off on Matchday 1, as he ultimately had no direct involvement in any of Bayern’s five goals against Stuttgart. However, having scored twice in the cup in midweek, the England international is close to a must-have for the upcoming away game against Schalke 04, where another brace – or even a hat-trick – could be on the cards.
