Former Gladbach, Dortmund and RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose close to Bournemouth job

Former Bundesliga coach Marco Rose is reportedly on the verge of becoming Bournemouth's new manager.

Ex-Bundesliga coach Marco Rose is in advanced talks with Bournemouth over becoming their new manager, according to English transfer journalist Ben Jacobs.

Jacobs reports that the former Borussia Mönchengladbach, Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig boss is close to reaching an agreement on terms with the Premier League club.

Rose has been lined up to replace Andoni Iraola, who will leave the club this summer. Interestingly, Iraola is said to have attracted interest from Bayer Leverkusen.

Rose’s last role was as head coach of RB Leipzig, where he worked from September 2022 to March 2025.
