1. FC Heidenheim remain at the bottom of the Bundesliga table with 13 points following a 2-3 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on Sunday.

Head coach Frank Schmidt was left frustrated after the game, insisting his side deserved to come away with something.

“This is a terrible result for us. We didn’t deserve this defeat. Dortmund were lucky,” Schmidt fumed after the match.

“BVB came back from nowhere. We dominated large parts of the second half. A 3-3 draw would have been fair,” he added.

Heidenheim have now gone seven games without a win.
