Elye Wahi could leave Eintracht Frankfurt for the Süper Lig this winter, if reports from the Turkish newspaper Sabah are accurate.

Galatasaray have expressed serious interest in the Frenchman, to which the striker is said to have responded positively.

Specifically, a loan deal with a subsequent purchase option is being discussed by the Turkish Süper Lig giants.

Wahi, who joined from Olympique Marseille for €26million last winter, has no future with the Hessen club as things stand.

The 22-year-old wasn't even included in the squad for the last two Bundesliga matches by coach Dino Toppmöller.

The Eintracht coach particularly criticizes Wahi's attitude and costly mistake is to be rectified by selling him in January.

Wahi and his entourage are also exploring the French market, however, Galatasaray appear to be favourites to secure his signature.

Besides Wahi,AC Milan's Santiago Giménez is also being considered as a potential new signing for the Istanbul club.

They want to sign a new striker due to Victor Osimhen's participation in the Africa Cup of Nations and Mauro Icardi's poor performances.
