Eintracht Frankfurt is pushing ahead with their pursuit of Anton Gaaei from Ajax Amsterdam, according to Sky Germany.

The pay-TV channel reports that the Hessian club has reached an agreement with the 23-year-old right-back on a contract until 2031.

Transfer negotiations with the Eredivise giants are currently ongoing where Gaaei is under contract until the summer of 2028.

Ajax originally signed the one-cap Danish international from Viborg FF three years ago for a fee of €4.5million.

Gaaei has made 111 competitive appearances for the club from the capital of the Netherlands while providing 7 goals and 13 assists.

In Frankfurt, he is expected to take the place of Rasmus Kristensen, who recently moved to Danish side FC Midtjylland for €6million.

Frankfurt's interest in Gaaei leaked a week ago, and now Eintracht Frankfurt is very close to securing their desired transfer.
