Gladbach join Ipswich and Hull in pursuit of towering Swiss centre-half

Sow, a 23-year-old Swiss centre-half of Senegalese descent, is attracting interest from clubs in Germany, England and France.

According to sources at FussballTransfers.com, Borussia Mönchengladbach are interested in Karim Sow from FC Lausanne-Sport.

The potential transfer fee for the 23-year-old from the Swiss Super League club is likely in the range of €4 to €5million.

However, the club from the Rhineland not the only club that has taken notice of the towering 1.98-meter-tall defender.

Newly promoted Premier League clubs Ipswich Town and Hull City are also interested in Sow, as well as Racing Strasbourg of Ligue 1.

The Swiss center-back is under contract with Lausanne until 2028 and was a regular starter in the club's defense since last season.

Sow has already made two starts in the current Swiss league season, helping them to a 1-0 over FC Basel and a 1-1 draw with Grasshopper.
