After just one season at Borussia Mönchengladbach, Giovanni Reyna appears set for another move.
The Bundesliga club confirmed on Sunday that the United States international will not travel with the squad to their training camp at Tegernsee, having been granted permission to hold talks with another club.
Recent reports have suggested that Gladbach are open to parting ways with Reyna, with French side Strasbourg reportedly interested in signing him.
Meanwhile, Reyna’s USMNT teammate Joe Scally has been included in the squad for the trip despite also being linked with a potential summer transfer.
Scally, who has one year remaining on his contract with Die Fohlen, opened the door to a summer move in an interview with Bulinews.com in May.
“I've been here for a long time," Scally said when asked how he sees his future.
“I love the club, but it's no secret that I would love to experience something different at some point in my career. I think every player has their wishes and what they want to do."
