TSG Hoffenheim are reportedly exploring a move for Belgian prospect Nathan De Cat as the club continues its ambitious recruitment drive ahead of the new season. The teenager is regarded as one of Belgium's brightest young talents and has attracted interest from several clubs across Europe, including Bayern Munich.

According to "BILD", Hoffenheim view De Cat as a long-term investment and are willing to compete financially to bring him to the Bundesliga. Any deal, however, would require a transfer fee that would rank among the highest in the club's history - and potentially surpass previous records. Hoffenheim's most expensive signings in the past have generally fallen in the €15-20 million range, underlining the scale of the potential investment.

According to “Transfermarkt”, De Cat's market value lies at around €27 million. While negotiations are reportedly ongoing, it remains to be seen whether Hoffenheim are prepared to meet the asking price for De Cat.

The 17-year-old wonderkid has already made 53 appearances for Anderlecht in Belgium, scoring four and assisting five.
