Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel was full of smiles in his post match interview after their 3-0 win over Werder Bremen tonight.

“I think how they games played out it was two good results [against Frankfurt and Bremen]. Today, it was not an easy first-half.

"We came in a little bit slow, but we still went 1-0 up and defended pretty nicely when we were forced to do so.

“Then in the second-half we controlled most of the game, scored more goals and we can take the three points and be very happy,” Kobel said.

The Swiss shot-stopper also expressed his delight at Serhou Guirassy getting on the score sheet and Marcel Sabitzer's performance.

"I'm super happy [for Guirassy], I came all the way up [the pitch] to congratulate him. I think he's an amazing player.

"When you're a striker, sometimes just scoring a goal is all you need so I was extremely happy for him today.

“He [Sabitzer] scored an amazing goal. I know him for these shots [at goal], he likes these shots which can be really dangerous,” he added.

The Westphalian giants will hope to recover quickly as they prepare for the visit of FC St. Pauli next Saturday at 15:30 CET.
