After establishing himself as one of the Bundesliga's standout players during his spell at Borussia Dortmund between 2017 and 2021, Jadon Sancho was sold to Manchester United.

Sancho later returned to the Black and Yellows on loan for the second half of the 2023/24 season, and with his contract at United set to expire this summer, speculation has grown that he could be heading back for a third stint.

Dortmund goalkeeper Gregor Kobel would certainly welcome such a move.

“When he came back to us, his presence was very beneficial, even if the stats perhaps weren’t as strong as during his first spell,” Kobel told Ruhr Nachrichten on the “19:09 Talk” show.

Kobel added that he would be happy to see Sancho "back with us again with that same attitude.”

Sancho has spent the current campaign on loan at Aston Villa, scoring once and providing three assists in 34 matches in all competitions.
