Kompany's Bayern salary revealed

Sky Germany claims to know what Vincent Kompany will earn in his new job as Bayern Munich coach.

Vincent Kompany was officially unveiled as Bayern Munich's new manager earlier this week, and the Belgium international has plenty of reasons to be excited about his new job.

One of them is the salary he'll be receiving. According to Sky Germany, the former Burnley manager will earn €7-9 million gross per year, including possible bonuses.

His predecessor, Thomas Tuchel, is said to have received just under €9 million plus bonuses per season.

The two previous Bayern coaches, Julian Nagelsmann and Hansi Flick, reportedly made €6 million per year plus bonuses.

Vincent Kompany will officially begin his work as Bayern Munich coach in early July, having put pen to paper on a contract that runs until 2027.

The 38-year-old has previously worked as Burnley manager and Anderlecht coach.

As a player, he played for Anderlecht, Hamburger SV and Manchester City. He also made 89 appearances for the Belgian national team, scoring four goals.
