RB Leipzig are reportedly interested in Sunderland winger Simon Adingra.

According to Fussball Transfers, the Bundesliga club have already taken initial steps regarding a potential move for the 24-year-old winger.

Adingra is set to return to Sunderland following a successful six-month loan spell at AS Monaco, but it remains unclear if he'll stay with the Black Cats.

At RB Leipzig, Adingra could potentially replace fellow Ivorian winger Yan Diomande, whose future with Die Roten Bullen remains uncertain.

However, the Bundesliga outfit are far from alone in their interest, with AS Roma, West Ham United, Ipswich Town and Hull City also reportedly monitoring Adingra.

Meanwhile, AS Monaco are said to be interested in bringing the 24-year-old back on loan for another spell.

Adingra scored three goals and provided two assists in 17 appearances for Monaco during the second half of last season. His contract with Sunderland runs until 2030.
