With several reports suggesting that Mathys Tel has decided to leave Bayern Munich before the winter transfer window closes on Monday, the big question now is where he will go.

A number of Bundesliga clubs are interested in signing Tel on loan, but the player himself would prefer to move outside of the German top flight, according to Bild.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for the French forward for a while, but the German tabloid claims the 19-year-old is not keen on a move to the London club because of the competition for places up front.

Arsenal, who are looking to cover for the injured Bakary Saka and Gabriel Jesus, are also thought to be interested, along with Manchester United and Tottenham.

A potential obstacle is that while Bayern are keen to send Tel out on loan, the big clubs would prefer to sign him on a permanent basis.

In any case, it's highly unlikely that the 19-year-old will spend the rest of the season at Bayern.
