Multiple reports: Casteels set to move to Saudi Arabia

VfL Wolfsburg goalkeeper Koen Casteels is reportedly set to move to Saudi Arabia.

It's been clear for some time that Koen Casteels will leave VfL Wolfsburg this summer after nine years with the German Bundesliga club.

Now it appears that the 31-year-old goalkeeper has found a new employer.

According to consistent reports from Saudi Arabia, as reported by Kicker, Casteels is set to join newly promoted Saudi Pro League side Al-Qadisiya FC.

First, however, Casteels will focus on his participation in the European Championship with Belgium.

Al-Qadisiya have a former Bundesliga player in their ranks in former Mainz defender Alexander Hack.

Casteels has been Wolfsburg's first-choice goalkeeper for many years, making a total of 275 appearances for the club.

He has also played for Genk, Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen through his career.
