Hoeneß still irked by team execution: "I cannot accept that."

With his team still underperforming, Sebastian Hoeneß once again expressed his frustration after Hoffenheim's 0-0 draw with Bielefeld.
TSG Hoffenheim head-coach Sebastian Hoeneß' mood appears to have shifted from anger to consternation after the latest Kraichgauer flop. Even with two of his preferred veterans occupying the six-slots, the squad's performance fizzled out after a chance-laden initial 20 minutes against Bielefeld.

"For me, there was too much excitement in the first 15, 20 minutes," the 39-year-old remarked in his post match comments. The head-coach clearly appreciated his team's drive toward goal, but noted that it deviated from the match-plan they had drawn up together.

Even though Bielefeld were able to generate far fewer scoring opportunities, Hoeneß also criticized the side's defensive work.

"We simply allowed too much through in a manner that is all to familiar: long balls and second balls," he noted, "That's inconceivable from my point of view. We weren't all there at the back in certain situations. I cannot accept that given the form that we're in."
