Emre Can: "We wanted a reaction after the last game"

Emre Can was delighted to see Dortmund bounce back with a 3-1 win over Arminia Bielefeld.
Borussia Dortmund's Emre Can was pleased with the reaction of his side as they recovered from their 4-0 defeat to Ajax with a 3-1 victory over Arminia Bielefeld in the Bundesliga today.

Can scored the opener from the penalty spot, with Mats Hummels and Jude Bellingham adding to the lead before Fabian Klos scored a late consolation goal for the hosts.

"We wanted a reaction after the last game," Can told reporters after the final whistle. We did that well today.

"We couldn't underestimate Bielefeld. It wasn't easy to play here, but we did everything in a very confident way. That's a big compliment to the team," he added.

The win leaves Dortmund second in the Bundesliga table, one point behind Bayern München.
