Nagelsmann and Kimmich back Sabitzer to rediscover his best form
Julian Nagelsmann and Joshua Kimmich have backed Marcel Sabitzer to rediscover his best form for Bayern München.
Marcel Sabitzer has struggled to live up to the expectations at Bayern München following his transfer from RB Leipzig last summer.
But according to both Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann and midfield maestro Joshua Kimmich, the 27-year-old is looking better and better.
"He has outstanding qualities," Nagelsmann told Sport1 in the wake of Saturday's 1-0 win over Eintracht Frankfurt, which saw Sabitzer play 67 minutes.
"Our task as a coaching team is to make him perform at his best. He's not quite there yet, but he's improving."
Kimmich said:
"'Sabi' is getting better and better with us. It was difficult for him at the beginning, but it simply takes time until you really feel comfortable and find your role after a transfer."
