Dortmund chief rules out signing Cristiano Ronaldo
Hans-Joachim Watzke has made it clear that Borussia Dortmund will not sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
Borussia Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has poured cold water on speculation linking Cristiano Ronaldo with a move to the club.
According to reports, the 37-year-old Portuguese superstar has been offered to Dortmund by his agent, Jorge Mendes.
However, Watzke claims there is no contact between Dortmund and the Manchester United star.
"I love him as a player, it's certainly a charming idea. To see Cristiano Ronaldo play at Signal Iduna Park... But there is no contact at all between the parties involved. So from now on, you should stop talking about it," Watzke told reporters at a press conference today.
