VfL Wolfsburg attacker Max Kruse is trying to stay as positive as possible after being told that he has played his last game under Niko Kovac.

At the moment, he is giving everything to ensure that his future employer can welcome a fit player into their ranks when the transfer window opens in January.

Kruse, who took part the Claudio Pizarro's testimonial match yesterday, told reporters:

"I'll have to wait a few more months, because nothing will happen before January anyway.

"I accept the situation as it is. It's no use if I I'm bad-tempered and in a bad mood all the time. I'll keep trying to train, keep fit and then I'd definitely like to play football again in January," Kruse added.

Among others, Kruse has been linked with a move to the MLS and his ex-club Werder Bremen. At the moment, it seems there is no favorite to secure the signing of the veteran.

"We'll see," Kruse noted.
