New RB Leipzig boss Max Eberl has prioritized locking down the talent on his roster with new long-term deals as his first task in charge of his new club's roster. Germany's "Sport Bild" tabloid currently reports that Eberl comes close to achieving an early success in this regard with a new deal for start Spanish attacker Dani Olmo.

Olmo - whose current contract runs through the end of next season - is reportedly set to receive a pay raise that will up his current €8 million salary. Two exit clauses are also built into the new deal. Olmo may depart for another European club for around €75 million. Should the 24-year-old wish to play in his native Spain for the first time in his career, some €60 million will be due to the German Red Bulls.

The extremely talented attacking midfielder has stormed out of the gate in the new calendar year. Olmo scored a goal collected a hat trick of assists in Leipzig's 6-1 win over FC Schalke 04 last night. The 29-times-capped international presently maintains an estimated market worth of €40 million in the latest transfermarkt listings. The new contract would probably keep him in Saxony for at least another year.
