Musiala ahead of Man City: "We all believe we can turn this tie around"

Jamal Musiala says the Bayern Munich players still believe they can progress against Manchester City.

Things did not go according to plan for Bayern Munich in their Champions League quarter-final first leg against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, with the Bavarians losing 3-0.

But even though Manchester City will take a comfortable three-goal lead into tonight's second leg at the Allianz Arena, the tie is far from over, according to Bayern youngster Jamal Musiala.

"We all believe we can turn this tie around. The first leg in Manchester showed that. The way we played against City was good. We played with a lot of confidence and spirit," Musiala told Sport Bild.

"We had our chances. If we'd had a bit more luck, the game would have been different. We know that in Munich the shots have to go in.

"There's definitely still a chance. We're playing at home in the Allianz Arena, our fans will be there and we have 90 minutes to decide the game in our favor. We'll give it our all to get to the semi-finals.

"I love these games - I see them as a challenge. You learn and grow from them. Man City are definitely one of the best teams in the world. They are in great form at the moment. Every player there is at an absolute top level," said Musiala.
