On Thursday, Bild reported that Michael Olise is a doubt for Bayern Munich’s upcoming game against 1. FC Heidenheim following recent eye surgery.

Now, Sky Germany reports that the Frenchman is expected to be available despite the procedure.

After missing training on Tuesday and Wednesday, Olise was able to resume light running on Thursday.

However, even if Olise is declared fit to play, it remains uncertain whether Bayern will risk playing him against their 17th-placed opponents.

If Olise doesn’t start, Lennart Karl is likely to start on the right wing, with Serge Gnabry playing centrally and Luis Diaz on the left. Raphael Guerreiro is also an option for the central attacking role.
