After a gritty 0-0 draw against VfB Stuttgart this afternoon, TSG Hoffenheim's Oliver Baumann was content with taking a point back to Sinsheim.
“We can be satisfied with the point. There weren't many scoring opportunities, a slight advantage for Stuttgart," he said in the mixed zone at full-time.
"For us, it has to be a big lesson that we need to maintain possession and also take a breather. Nevertheless, we kept a clean sheet in Stuttgart, which is good.
"We only broke through once in the first half, but Stuttgart didn't too often either. We've developed a very good style of play.
“Everything is clicking. As a club, we're all heading in the same direction,” explained the 35-year-old veteran.
Hoffenheim could spend the winter break in the Champions League places depending on how tonight's clash between RB Leipzig and Bayer Leverkusen finishes.
