Germany to face United States ahead of 2026 World Cup

Germany are set to face the United States in their final friendly ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
The German Football Association announced on Wednesday that Julian Nagelsmann’s team will take on the World Cup hosts at Soldier Field in Chicago on June 6.
The German national team also have friendlies scheduled against Côte d’Ivoire (March 30) and Finland (May 31).
The draw for the 2026 World Cup, which kicks off on June 11, will take place this Friday.
Germany and the United States can't meet in the group stage, as both teams are seeded in Pot 1.
