Bayern Munich will be without Joshua Kimmich for their last game of 2025 against 1. FC Heidenheim on Sunday, head coach Vincent Kompany revealed on Saturday.
"Joshua Kimmich won't make it," Kompany said at his pre-match press conference.
“The medical department need to communicate that at the right moment. But he'd already had problems with Germany.
“We've had so many matches. At some point the pain just became too much. It's not about workload. He hasn't been able to train this week. He won't play,” he added.
Manuel Neuer (hamstring), Konrad Laimer (suspension), Sacha Boey (illness) and Nicolas Jackson (international duty) will also miss the game, but Michael Olise is available after recently undergoing minor eye surgery.
“Michael Olise is fine,” underlined Kompany.
