Germany coach Julian Nagelsmann made one change at half-time during his side’s 6-0 thumping of Slovakia, substituting Aleksandar Pavlovic for Felix Nmecha.

After the game, Nagelsmann explained that Pavlovic was taken off as a precaution due to “a bit of calf problems.”

The 21-year-old midfielder confirmed in the mixed zone that he was fine.

“I think it was just a minor knock, it was a precaution,” Pavlovic said.

After securing a spot at next year’s World Cup, Pavlovic also reflected on Germany’s chances in the tournament.

“We just want to win every game and take it one match at a time. I would say we always have a chance to win. If we play like we did today, a lot is possible,” the FC Bayern midfielder added.
