Sport Bild Report: Gladbach hold initial talks with Seoane

Germany's main sporting tabloid reports that Borussia Mönchengladbach have held initially talks with former Bayer Leverkusen trainer Gerardo Seoane about potentially taking over for Daniel Farke once the current season concludes.
Gerardo Seoane has been listed among the candidates potentially poised to take over the head-coaching position at Borussia Mönchengladbach this summer once the Westphalian club parts company with Daniel Farke after the current season is through. Germany's "Sport Tabloid" newspapers reports that there have even been initial talks between the German club and the Swiss trainer.

It does remain the case that, according to BMG sporting director Rolan Virkus at least, a final decision on Farke's future has not been made. The German tabloid nevertheless notes that Virkus and the front office are keen on bringing in Seoane, whom they consider an excellent choice to help rebuild the squad.

Seoane has been unemployed since being let go by Leverkusen in early October. In some 15 months on the job with Gladbach's NRW neighbors, Seoane achieved a 46 percent win percentage with Germany's red company team. The 44-year-old also helped guide Bayer to the Champions' League last season.
