Reports: Swedish phenom set to sign with Frankfurt

Germany's preeminent footballing publication is now confirming a report originating from Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano regarding the Swedish midfield phenom Hugo Larsson.

According to both sources, the 18-year-old has passed a medical and signed a new contract with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Eintracht Frankfurt have apparently scored their first major transfer coup. A young Swedish midfield talent previously linked with Dortmund has apparently opted to sign on with the SGE instead. Malmö FF's Hugo Larsson will apparently join the RheinMain Adler on a new five-year-contract.

Germany's Kicker Magazine reports that Eintracht are set to pay a hefty price for the teenager. Kicker cites its own sources to assert a transfer fee of approximately €11.5 million. If true, this would make Larsson the Swedish's league's most expensive-ever departure. Not even Zlatan Ibrahimovic cost as much.
