Bayern beat Dortmund in race for Croatian teenager
Bayern Munich have sealed the signing of Croatian prodigy Ljubo Puljic, who was also linked with Dortmund.
FC Bayern Munich have won the race to sign 16-year-old Croatian central defender Ljubo Puljic from NK Osijek.
The youngster, who was also linked with Borussia Dortmund, has signed a long-term contract with the German champions and will move to the FC Bayern Campus for the 2023/24 season.
"Ljubo is a big and strong defender, who is strong in duels. He has a great mentality and always gives everything for his team on the pitch," said Bayern academy manager Halil Altintop.
"He also has a great character. We are very happy that our scouting team around Florian Zahn was able to realize this transfer and that Ljubo is moving to the Campus."
