Nagelsmann's deal includes release clause valid from 2027

Germany's head coach could be bought out of his contract in a few years time once a clause comes into effect.

Julian Nagelsmann has a written release clause in his German head coach contract according to Sky Germany’s latest. 

The release clause is worth around 7-8.5million and is valid from the summer of 2027.

Nagelsmann’s current deal runs until the end of the 2028 European Championship which will take place in the UK & Ireland. 

After that, the 37-year-old boss could extend with the national team or then go back into club football. 

Nagelsmann currently holds a record of 12 wins, 6 draws and 3 losses in his 21 games in change of Die Mannschaft.
