Despite dominating possession and creating plenty of chances, Bayern Munich were defeated 1-2 by Inter in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final tie last week.

The pattern continued in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Borussia Dortmund, where Bayern again squandered several clear-cut opportunities.

At a press conference before the vital return leg in Milan, Harry Kane stressed the need for better chance conversion, but highlighted the positive aspect of Bayern's ability to create so many opportunities.

“I'm someone who gets more annoyed if we're not getting the chances. We had another match shortly after that. Now the focus is on the next one,” Kane said.

"We had enough chances to make it a better scoreline in the first leg. We have to try to play our game and play even better than in the first leg, especially in terms of chance conversion.

"I'd be more worried if we weren't creating as many chances. The goalkeepers have also had very good games in the last couple of matches. We want to be more clinical and take the opportunities we have."

Kane has found the net 34 times in 41 matches for Bayern this season.
