RB Leipzig are the DFB-Pokal champions for the second year in a row after a 2-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt at the Olympiastadion in Berlin tonight.

Christopher Nkunku and Dominik Szoboszlai scored in the second half to give Marco Rose's side the win.

Leipzig could have scored four minutes into the game, but Timo Werner sent his shot straight into the hands of Kevin Trapp after being found by Dominik Szoboszlai in a promising position.

A few minutes before the break, Leipzig came close again, this time through Christopher Nkunku, who sent a shot just wide of the post.

Just after the hour mark, it was Eintracht's turn to threaten Leipzig's goal when Mario Götze's close-range volley was saved by Janis Blaswich.

But just as Eintracht were beginning to show some bite, they were stunned by Christopher Nkunku's opener. The Frechman cut inside and unleashed a shot that deflected off a defender and into the net on 71 minutes.

In the 85th minute, Dominik Szoboszlai sealed the victory for Leipzig, finding the far corner of the net after being picked out by Nkunku.
