Bayern München coach Niko Kovac wasn't entirely satisfied with his side's performance in today's 4-1 win over VfB Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena.

Bayern were off to a great start and made it 1-0 after just five minutes, but Kovac was disappointed to see his side take the foot off the gas and let Stuttgart into the game.

The score was 1-1 at the break, but Bayern stepped up their game in the second half, much to Kovac's delight.

"We started the game well, but then we just weren't there at all for 35 minutes. Things went a lot better in the second half, and we managed to show our individual class more. We deserved to win," the Bayern coach told reporters.

With today's win, Bayern keep pressure on league leaders Borussia Dortmund who are six points clear.
