Wolfsburg announce new deal for Pervan

VfL Wolfsburg and Pavao Pervan have agreed on a contract extension until 2025.
Pavao Pervan has extended his contract with VfL Wolfsburg until 2025.

The Wölfe announced on Wednesday that the 36-year-old goalkeeper has agreed to extend his contract for another year.

"I am happy that my time at VfL will continue. I've always stressed that I've felt incredibly at home in Wolfsburg with my family from day one," said Pervan.

"It makes me happy and fills me with gratitude to be able to continue to prove myself at the high level that prevails in training and in the Bundesliga."

Pervan is currently Wolfsburg's second-choice goalkeeper behind Koen Casteels. When Casteels leaves the club this summer, Pervan will face fresh competition from FC Copenhagen's Kamil Grabara.
