Leverkusen don't want to lower their asking price for Kai Havertz, says Rudi Völler
Bayer Leverkusen boss Rudi Völler says the club have no intention of lowering their asking price for Kai Havertz.
Bayer Leverkusen will not be lowering their asking price for Kai Havertz despite the financial implications of the coronavirus pandemic, says club boss Rudi Völler.
According to Sport Bild, the highly-rated 20-year-old will not be allowed to leave for a fee below €100 million.
Völler doesn't get into detail, but confirms that Leverkusen will not be reducing their demands amid the corona crisis.
"Nothing has changed regarding our valuation of Kai Havertz," Völler told Sport Bild.
The report further claims that Havertz wants to make a decision on his future this summer. Even if he opts to spend another season at Leverkusen, the youngster will be looking to determine which club he will be joining in 2021.
Havertz, who is under contract until 2022, has been linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs, including Bayern München, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
He has made 38 appearances for Leverkusen this season with 15 goals and eight assists to his name.
