Bosz on Götze: "We are currently looking for other positions"
Recent statements by Peter Bosz seem to suggest that the Leverkusen coach is not seeking a centralized attacker. Florian Wirtz emerges as the successor to Kai Havertz.

When asked about the prospect of Mario Götze potentially finding employment at Germany's red company team, head-coach Peter Bosz's initial words seemed to offer hope. "I can envision working with together with Mario again," Bosz noted, "One can see what quality he possesses. Apart from that, he's a very pleasant person; a 'good boy'"
Bosz would go on to rule out a collaboration at his present place of employment. "We are currently looking for other positions," Bosz noted before explicitly pushing back any potential association until after his days at Leverkusen are over, "Maybe it's possible in the future. It depends on how long I can be the coach here."
Bosz's statements would appear to suggest that he's not overtly concerned about replacing Kai Havertz in central attack. One can possibly even infer from this that he believes young phenom Florian Wirtz will have no trouble filling Havertz's boots.
