Werder forward Johannes Eggestein to move to Austria in search of playing time?

Werder Bremen could send Johannes Eggestein out on loan to Austrian side LASK Linz.

Johannes Eggestein could leave Werder Bremen for a move to Austria before the transfer window slams shut later today, claims Bild.

The German news outlet is reporting that LASK Linz are keen on taking the 22-year-old on loan.

The 22-year-old German forward has been limited to just 31 minutes of playing time this season so far.

Eggestein has played a total of 55 games for Werder, racking up six goals and three assists.

His contract expires in 2022.
