Nicolas Gonzalez on his Stuttgart future: 'There's a 50 percent chance I will stay'

VfB Stuttgart forward Nicolas Gonzalez has spoken out on his future amid reported interest from Borussia Dortmund, Tottenham and Juventus.
Nicolas Gonzalez says there is a '50 percent chance' that he will remain at VfB Stuttgart beyond the summer.

Back in November, the 22-year-old striker signed a new contract until 2024, but he admits he might not stay that long.

"I give everything for VfB, and I'm happy here. But I want to get to next level, to progress, at some point. I would say there is a 50 percent chance that I will still be playing for Stuttgart next season," Gonzalez told Sport Bild.

Gonzalez almost left before the season. Wolfsburg showed interest in him, but their €15 million offer wasn't enough for Stuttgart.

"I heard about their inquiry," admitted the striker, who has found the net six times in 14 games this season.

Now, Gonzalez is attracting interest from bigger clubs than Wolfsburg, according to Sport Bild, who claims Juventus, Tottenham and Borussia Dortmund are all interested in the 22-year-old.

"I haven't spoken to Dortmund. That's my agent's responsibility anyway. But BVB is a top club," said Gonzalez on the reported interest from BVB.

According to Sport Bild, Stuttgart would demand at least €20 million for Gonzalez.
