Peter Bosz: 'We have to get a result next time'

Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz is aware his team need to start winning games again immediately.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz acknowledges his team need to start picking up results after Sunday's 1-2 defeat to Freiburg at home in the Bundesliga.

'Die Werkself' have won just one of their last nine games in all competitions and crashed out of the DFB-Pokal and the Europa League in February after losing to Rot-Weiss Essen and Young Boys respectively.

Meanwhile, Sunday's defeat to Freiburg means Bosz's troops are down to sixth in the Bundesliga table.

"This is a difficult phase. We're losing way too many games and have been eliminated from two competitions. Therefore, this was an important game for us. We had a promising start to the game, played well and didn't allow them much. Then we had a setback as we conceded a goal," Bosz told reporters after Sunday's game.

"It's no use hanging our heads. In the second half, we played better than last week and let the ball do the work. We have to keep going and play better football. We have to get a result next time."

Speaking before the game, Leverkusen chief Rudi Völler insisted he has full faith in Bosz.
