Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc recently brought up the topic of a ‘gentleman’s agreement’ between the club and the forward.

According to renewed reports from England and Germany, Bayern Munich are ready to raid Dortmund once again. This time for Sancho’s transfer.

The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath confirms the reports.

The freshly crowned German champions enter the race for Sancho’s signature but know he won’t come cheap – with his transfer market value lying around in the region of €100m, according to transfermarkt.

The England international was close to moving to Premier League last year when Manchester United were actively interested in luring him away. The English giants are still a possible destination, but now will face the challenge of the Bavarian giants.

The 21-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the 2022/23 season in June 2023. With two full seasons left on his contract, his value will drop as the end of his contract nears.

In case a move materializes, the ex-Manchester City youth product will join Julian Nagelsmann who already has Leroy Sane, Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman at his disposal.

Sancho has score 14 goals and registered 18 assists in 35 Dortmund appearances this season.

He is also being chased by Chelsea, Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG and Manchester City
