Bayern downplay Lewandowski training break-off

The Gerd Müller record remains tantalizingly close for the world footballer-of-the-year. With two goals to go in two match-days, all; eyes remain fixated on Robert Lewandowski after he was forced the break off training today.
Robert Lewandowski prematurely ended his Thursday training session after just 40 minutes on Tuesday. Journalists covering the club's practice regime at Germany's Sport Bild claim that the 32-year-old injured himself in a contactless drill.

Perhaps seeking to dispel any rumors regarding their star striker, Bayern social media officers took to twitter to minimize the incident.

Though twitter remains awash with rumors that Lewandowski has been given the all clear, the official work from the club remains that the decision to pull the striker off the pitch was a workload-related decision.

Nothing official from the club has emerged yet.
